playhtml is a library built by Taiwanese American artist Spencer Chang that lets you create multiplayer web experiences without needing to write any backend code. An example of how artists are building infrastructure to support collective action and engagement.

  1. We are continue to develop our Collective Activation, and will be sharing our progress in class next week. For this week, please start making and documenting your progress on the first three parts of the project: Urgent Topics, Design Action, and Infra-structure. You can use any format you like to document your progress, such as photos, videos, written reflections, or social media posts. The important thing is to capture your process and share it with others.
  2. Make sure your collective activation could be finished by March 31. We will be sharing our progress in class next week, so make sure to have something to share by then. This could be a prototype, a sketch, a plan, or any other form of documentation that captures your progress and the impact of your engagement. We will move forward with another assignment: Publication as a Collective Doc on April 7, so make sure to have something to share by then as well.
